    Well, I’d have to say that the woman in the video seems to be a native Spanish speaker, too. I wonder what accounts for the difference between your comments and what they are teaching.

    Some comments from a native Spanish speaker from Panama:
    1-I’ve never heard before word “Pucho”, but it is present in RAE dictionary.
    2-He/she smoked 3 packs per day is a better translation, because “fumó” is a past verb; but it is ok to say fuma (and smokes its correct translation, because is an habitual present).
