In your opinion, do you believe Barack Obama will keep all of his campaign promises to the American People? Why or why not?
When I say all of his campaign promises, I mean everything he has posted on his campaign website. This mean he will not lie to you and break his promises like many members of the Democratic Party.
I find him to be a very passionate and geniune person, and although getting into the white house is important, he holds his credibility even higher. I’m sure he will do his very best to do what he can for America.

Yes because there will be an insane amount of pressure on him to do so

No matter who it is running for president, they will lie and wont do any of the stuff they promise. Well, they will do a lot, but never will keep all promises.

I don’t think ANY politician can fullfill ALL his promises. I am realistic. I believe he will try to. He has already said that because of this financial crisis, he will have to prioritize and wait on some of the things he wants to do.

No they never do , McCain may not bomb Iran , he may just be bluffing , that was just an example

Do you think McCAIN Will keep all of his promises to the American People if he is elected?
Does any president keep all their promises?
Secondly, if senate and house don’t pass the bill that the pres wants, it wont happen, so it might not be the pres’ fault 100%

As long as the American public supports his plan.

I’m sure he will try his best. But being president isn’t easy and he needs the cooperation of other Government officials to get things done.

No. But elected Presidents never find that they’re able to keep all of their promises.
I want him to at least try, even if he isn’t successful. And if he can’t keep a promise, I’d like to hear a good reason for it.
There’s information he’s not currently privy to that could change what happens - and Congress can stymie the President as well.
We can’t predict the future. The best we can do is vote for the person whose ideals best match our own, because everyone’s idea of a perfect America is different, and he’s not going to make everyone happy.
As for parties and lying, check out some of the crap McPalin’s been slingin’ around before you start making accusations. They’re already drowning in lies, and they’re nowhere near the Presidency yet…

Not unless he can do it all before we Republicans take back congress. It’s always good to have congress/presidents of opposing parties. Keeps them from screwing up too much too fast.

while repeatedly admitting that most of the things he is still talking about cannot happen ” as soon as we wanted” (which means while he is president) because of the money used for the bailout, he continues to use these promises as the foundation of his campaign!

There has to be something seriously wrong with you mentally to think that only Democrats make campaign promises they don’t keep.
Look, we have a checks and balances system in this country. The president needs a Congress substantially controlled by his own party to be able to deliver on what he wants to do. The only way anyone will ever know the answer to your question is if Barack Obama wins and has a dominant Democratic majority in Congress.
I can tell you one thing. Even if the whole Democratic party goes to s*&), the answer sure isn’t the Republicans.

He is obviously very passionate. I do not think that the congress will allow him to keep all of his promises. But, I think because of his speaking abilities and his ability to clearly see what is best and because of his passion, he will lead us in the proper direction, in all of the crisis in the future.
It is a tough election. McCain is the best republican that has ran for the office in decades. It is ashamed he is running against one of the best orators ever.
